Lifeguard

This is one of the worst books I have read in recent memory. The main character is so shallow, and says such banal things, that there is no way anyone would fall for him. I can't believe a reputable author could put out a book like this, unless marketing says that the majority of the public likes simple stories aimed at 16 year olds. It IS true that it is easy to read, but so was my 1st kindergarten book. I'm not planning on ever wasting my time on this author again.
