Conversations With God
(Neale Donald Walsh; Vinod)
?Conversations with God? have been creatively written by an American author, Neale Donald Walsh. The author says that he has not written the book, but God has written the book through him. The work is in three volumes. Neale says that he wrote an angry letter to God. He questioned God bitterly to give him an explanation regarding the failures in his life. To the astonishment of Neale, God replied and answered his questions. According to Neale, God whispered words in his ears which he wrote down. It took him nearly six years to write the books. I have read these books five times and have been deeply influenced by the philosophy in these books. Whether God wrote the books or Neale Donald Walsh wrote the books is not important. What is important is the philosophy in the books. The advice given in the books deeply touches the heart. The first book- Part 1- deals with individual questions. It deals about God?s love for human beings, good and bad things in life, personal relationships, about health and so on. The second book- Part 2 ? deals about greater truths. It speaks about heaven and hell, human politics, businesses in this world, love and sex, money, war and peace in this world and so on. The third book- Part 3 ? deals with even greater truths such as spiritual life, souls and life after death and the life-style of advanced beings of other planets of this world. These books are bestsellers and have been read by millions in different countries. People have claimed that the book has brought tears of joy in their eyes. The author also has said that the books have changed his life and have changed his life from failure to success. All the three volumes are unlike any other book. The books are written in an entirely different style. The words are very simple which can be understood by any literate person. The philosophy is extremely touching. Some of the basic guidelines or truths mentioned in the books are:- 1. God loves every human being. He is impartial. God is seated in the heart of each human being. 2. Only heaven exists. Hell does not exist. Since God is compassionate and loving, it was not possible for God to create such a place as hell. Also, God judges none. All are good in the eyes of God because it was God who gave free will power to each human being. 3. Life was meant to be full of joy, happiness and all other good things. God does not wish any of us to suffer. God wishes each of us to enjoy life in the best manner possible. 4. There is no such thing as death. All of us are souls and thus, each of us is immortal. Life does not end, but merely changes form and continues. In ?Conversations with God?, God says that each human being has been given the freedom to lead the way of life which he or she pleases. God is not displeased with anyone. Some people have found it difficult to grasp the philosophy of the books and to agree with the advice given in the books. I found all the three books interesting and humorous. They captivated my heart. They changed many of my ideals in life. After reading the books closely, I found myself more cheerful and more light-hearted. This abstract was checked by WhiteSmoke Solution. Learn more.Processing data, please wait ...
