The Book Of Fear

Not far from a camping site, near a lake called Autumn there are some
old observatory ruins, a detective - the main character of the book
decides to take a look at the ruins at night. In order to do that he
moves out from his camping house at 11 pm, canoes through lake Autumn
and goes through complete darkness along a path. When he gets there it
turns out that some misterious character scouring in the ruins. The
detective decides to hide in the bushes and wait. Finally he gets to
spot the strangers figure, he's going twords the palace. The detective
begins to follow him. After a while they get to a wall which the
narrator jumps over and right after that he gets stuned and loses his consciousness.
The book has an interesting ending, from the begining to the end it
holds you in tension, we don't know what happens to the main character.
I highly recomend "The Book of Fear" as it is a perfect proposition for
a boring, glum night, I assure you that it won't take you longer.
