Histories in quadrinhos when integrating figures and texts, assist the children to learn to read and to progress slightly in the reading. Undeniably, they appear as a media of mass of vast popular consumption. The argument that used was that all age specified for the image, harming the effort of reading, thinking and to judge, becoming visual literature purely, taking the pupils to become accustomed to prioritize it seeing in detriment of reading and to study. One also argued the function of the image and the happened problems of the content of histories, therefore the opinion was in relation mainly of the proliferation of magazines in foreign quadrinhos, that if spread in Brazil, and was considered as incentivadoras of violence. The arguments also were alicerçados in the purely commercial reason of the magazines in quadrinhos, and for cause of this, they did not believe that the historias in quadrinhos could also collaborate for the cultural and moral perfectioning of the reader in development. The recommendation to use histories in quadrinhos in the schools consists of the volume of the dedicated PCN to the education of the Portuguese Language. In comicses, the children obtain to deduce the meaning of history, who are not capable still to read directly, observing the image. "This gives it sensation to they to be reading, what it is important in the alfabetização process". For children who had never had contact with the reading, the professor must, before everything, to teach them as if he reads the comics
