Bored Of The Rings

My Abstract on Bored of the Rings
Bored of the Rings is a British book that tells the adventures of Frito, Spam, Moxie, Pepsi, (Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin) Goodgulf, (Gandalf) Arrowroot, who is also known as Stomper, (Aragorn/Strider) Legolam, (Legolas) and Gimlet (Gimli) as they try to destroy the Ring at the black pits of Fordor. Obviously, this is a humorous parody of J. R. R. Tolkien's three wonderful tales. Though the trilogy only takes one volume, it more than makes up for its lack of words with its large amounts of humor (one example is that instead of being the son of Gloin, Gimlet is the son of Groin).
All of these characters seem to have something wrong about them: Frito and Spam are willing to let Goddam (Gollum) die to destroy the Ring; Moxie and Pepsi are idiotic; Arrowroot and Goodgulf are both cowards; Legolam seems to have an unnatural attraction to both men and small furry animals such as squirrels; and Gimlet looks like the back end of a Stone-troll.
Bromosel (Boromir), instead of being shot to death with arrows by the Uruk-Hai captain Lurtz, takes off running from a company of narcs (Orcs) and falls on his pointed shoes, killing himself after a few gasped words.
In addition to all of this, all of the characters seem to be incredibly stupid. When they are in the mines of Doria (Moria), after hearing a large amount of extremely loud sounds, they embark on a series of completely idiotic sentences:
"'Let's split up,' said Bromosel.
'I've twisted my ankle,' said Pepsi.
'Whatever you do, don't make a sound,' said Arrowroot.
'Wa-zoo,' screamed Moxie, sneezing violently.
'Now here's my plan,' said Goodgulf.
'Bullets won't stop them,' said Bromosel.
'Whatever happens,' said Arrowroot, 'we must keep a close watch.'
The company, as a man, fell asleep."
As you can see, and as I have said before, these characters have DUMB written all over them. So, in conclusion, if you are looking for a good time and a laugh on every page, order Bored of the Rings. You will not regret it.
