The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
(Robin Sharma)

Its funny how a title might just prompt you to pick a book. It wasn't expected from a literary classic buff like me to pick up an emotionally draining book like Robin Sharma's. Whether its to live your life to the fullest or to make one's soul happy, 'The monk who sold his Ferrari' has more than just a spiritualistic flavour.

When you like a book you shall probably like it for three reasons. Four, actually! One you are amazed at its title. Probably it?s a lot more eye catching than just the images on the cover. At a second glance, you'll probably scan through the author's credentials. When it?s a known writer your intuition might just make you purchase it as a collector's edition, but nothing beyond it. A third and perhaps a last aspect of purchasing a book is the summary, the précis of the story. The fourth angle to it may perhaps be the public opinion. When you look at several people purchasing the same book, you are all the more inclined to purchase it.

It?s funny then how temporarily is the aspect of writing a story and reproducing it with the right language truly counts! The book from its cover unto various parts of its contents vociferously oozes optimism. It makes one reflect that we only exist in this world and have somehow forgotten to live it to the fullest! 'The monk.... is nothing but a practice in knowing a person who has somehow got lost in the gamut of daily, mundane and routine life- You! I can only say that a book like this can only make you feel like you have been reborn! Believe me its worth reading!
