Biography Born in the interior of Minas Gerais, was son of Maria João of God. Educated in the faith catholic, Chico had its first contact with the Espírita Doctrine in 1927, after verified obsessive phenomenon with one of its sisters. Its first book, Parnaso de Além-Túmulo, with 256 attributed poems the died poets, between them the Portuguese João of God, Antero de Quental and Guerra Junqueiro, and the Brazilians Olavo Bilac, Cruz and Sousa and Augustus of the Angels, were published for the first time in 1932. The most known of the Brazilian espíritas it had excellent contribution to expand the Brazilian espírita movement and to encourage the espíritas to disclose its adhesion to the doctrine of Allan Kardec. Its credibility served of incentive so that médiuns espíritas and não-espíritas carried through works open spirituals to the public. Chico Xavier died to the 92 years of age, in result of cardiac arrest. The country festejava the conquest of the Pantry of the World of Soccer.
