It?s one of the best works of literature ?its power is in the question that is in the title itself. It?s a read of 15 minutes but makes you ponder long after you have finished.
The story goes like this?long time ago there lived a brutal and barbaric king who had discovered a strange way of forcing justice to his people. If there was any crime big enough to hold his attention, there was a trial whose rules were strange and cruel. It was a perfect case of heads you loose, tails I win situation. The convict was made to stand in a huge arena for the trial witnessed by king and public. king was generous enough ,so the Victim was allowed to choose his destiny by opening one the two door?one was having a hungry savage tiger who will shred him to pieces in the wink of an eye and the other a beautiful lass who will be his bride (he wish it or not) in another 10 minutes.
Now what will be the trial if the victim happens to be a handsome young man desired by all and lover of king?s daughter (who has inherited a part of king?s brutality)?this trial leaves you with questions
