The Metamorphosis

The story narrates us the history of Gregor Samsa, a salesclerk traveller that he wakes up a morning and realizes to have become a great cockroach. Despite him you try to hide this transformation of his, after some about ten minutes, his relatives enter his room and they discover his conditions.Very frightened they abandon the room and they close him inside. It begins the dramatic narration of the life of Gregor in his new condition of bug. The only component of the family that doesn't abandon him is his sister Grete that gives him the food, she worries so that he is well in his room and has the possibility to climb on the walls. After a few weeks, however, the interest and the attentions of the family for Gregor decrease a lot. This way the protagonist begins to star up to refuse entirely the food worse and worse and decides to abandon him to a slow death, caused from the lack of understanding and from the refusal from his/her family. Surely it is a very eloquent book... To read!
