Halloween, A Holy Evening: Trick Or Treat?

The Celts, during ancient times, in the British Isles, they believe in pagan religion that is worshipped Gods of nature and festivals known Beltane and Samhain. Beltane is celebrated in the beginning of summer and Samhain, in the beginning of winter, and known a God of Death.
Samhain is celebrated as Halloween a Holy evening on the 31 October carrying orange and black to represent the harvest (orange) and death (black).
Druids (Celtic Priest) made huge bonfires to frighten the spirits of evil and death and practiced magic and religious rituals. Druids considered the apple sacred and lucky The Celtic people dressed as witches, ghosts and skeletons.. On October 31, the Druids predicted the future. Celtic believed that witches had special powers that they use them for the future predictions. Ghost: the spirits of the dead. The Celtic believes that witches have power to contact ghosts. They played games to bring good luck in the New Year. After the Roman invasion in 43 AD, Christian rites substituted pagan rites. Samhain became a harvest festival called Pomona. Pomona was the roman goddess of gardens and orchards. The Celts believed that on the night of 31, ghost came out of their tombs. The spirits of the dead (ghosts) returned to earth.
Irish immigrants took their Halloween to the United States. Irish farmers knocked door-to-door and collected food for the Halloween party and they believe as such if you go out on Halloween, make sure you don?t travel in the dark. If you do it then carry a piece of bread with some salt on it. This will protect you if you meet a supernatural being. American and British children and teenagers go " trick-or-treating" on Halloween evening. They go around their neighborhood and masks and ring doorbells. When the door opens they shout, " Trick or treat? And people usually give them a treat: sweets, biscuits, fruit or money and they play a trick,
There are many apples in a big basin.
The big basin is full of water.
Children try to catch an apple with their mouth and teeth.They cannot use their hands.
