Sophie's World

Sophie is taken on an exciting adventure through the history of Philosphy and thought when she begins to recieve strange messages via letters and other modes of communication. Each chapter details a part of the Sophie's story which quite ingeniously lines up with a certian part of the history of Philosophy which is explained in simple and digestable detail until the present day. Gaarder does a great job presenting difficult concepts in easty to swallow bites and giving them life through the happenings in Sophie's life.
