Message
(FERNANDO PESSOA)

Publicidade
Message of Fernando Pessoa is a workmanship of complex estruturação of poems that if relates to Portugal and its history, but mainly to the Portuguese soul. The workmanship is divided in three parts: Blazon, Portuguese Sea and the Hidden one. The first part - Blazon - retraces to the origins of Portugal and the definition of the nationality of the country. The numerical, constant amounts and relations in the Blazon, have probable esoteric meanings, therefore traditionally the Portuguese blazons, generally represented for a dragon to the side, had been substituted by the mitológica figure of the Grifo (eagle head, lion legs), symbolizing the opposition of the contrary. The second part of Message - Portuguese Sea - mentions the great trips and the maritime expansion, therefore the apogee to it of history Portuguese, and which had to the heroic spirit of its people. The third part - the Hidden one - is fixed in the figure of D. Sebastião and encloses since its disappearance, until the phase of decline of the nation. The underlying subject in the workmanship is of the trips, however it has in it an invitation, so that the man travels for inside of itself, without fears of its proper contradictions, and that it makes a reevaluation of its more essential values, so that remain its closer wills, surpassing the superstition and the ignorance. Fernando Pessoa sample that the history of Portugal, the example of what it happens in the history of the humanity, does not pass of a winding, enigmatic parade, of blind gestures and acts, whose true direction is ignored. If it will not have determination and unfastening to pursue an ideal, the man will not pass of an dead-alive one. One of most beautiful poems e known of Fernando Pessoa is in the workmanship Message and is called: Portuguese sea. Ó salty sea, how much of your salt. They are tears of Portugal! For crossing you, how many mothers had cried. How many children in go had praid! How many fiancés had been for marrying. So that you were ours, ó sea! Was valid the penalty? All valley the penalty if the soul is not small. Who to pass beyond the Bojador.Tem that to pass beyond pain. God to the sea the danger and the abyss gave. But in it he is that the sky espelhou.
