Autobiography Of A Yogi
(Paramhansa Yoganand)
India is a mystic land. There have been saints, yogis and divine personalities who have been the living proof of not just the god`s existence but also his very intimate involvement with the human affairs. Paramhansa Yogananda was one such person who wrote his autobiography that expresses startling revelations. Did you know there are saints who can read your thouhts like a book? Did you know that the divine messengers are pre ordained? Do you know there is a divine age less guru in the mountain craigs of Himalayas? He looks like a young man of not more than 25 years of age. He has a mission. His mission is to save the world from extinction. He is in his bodily form. He works along with Jesus in the form of his spirit. The two great saints have the common mission of bringing peace to the world. He is known as Babaji. He was the ultimate guru of Paramhamsa Yoganand. Yoganand`s guru's guru's guru was Babaji. Althouh ordinary devotees do not have the luck to see Babaji, he visits in his bodily form some of the highly advanced disciples. Paramhamsa Yoganand was himself blessed enough to have a darshan( face to face appearance) of Babaji a couple of times. Babaji revealed to him some of the very surpring predictions about the world and humanity. It is said that Babaji has a group of highly advanced disciples who are always with him. Amongst such disciples include some of the Americans as well. Besides these facts, there are quite startling revelations in the book written sometimes in 1950s while Paramhamsa yoganand left his mortal body in 1958. He had wished that after his death his mortal frame should be left uncremated for some time which was done according to his wishes. And to the surprise of every one including the curator of the museum where his mortal frame was kept, his body didnot show any sign of decay week after week for several weeks. Even before it was finally created rigor mortis had not set in his body and it appeared as fresh as it was sleeping. Isn`t that proof enough of divinity.
