The Knight In History
(Frances Gies)

Publicidade
Out of all the military warriors that have been on this earth throughout history such as the Roman Centaurion, the japanese samauri, the spanish conquistador, none have developed a reputation or have been as regarded as the knight of the middle ages. The knight of jolly old england always had the title ,sir, in front of his name. He had an expensive war horse, big shiney sharp sword and he usually always lived in a castle, even though the castle he lived in was not usually owned by him. When he was knighted and took his oaths he was sworn under something called the code of chivalry. But most of the time this code of behaviour was violated rather than honored. He was the ultimate military warrior all throughout Europe and during the crusades. Fighting for the cross of christ his one and only Lord and Saviour. He would always be willing to die for what he believed in and his blade would always protect the week and humble. It was his duty to defend his faith, his nation, and the helpless in need.
