Erendira ia a whimsical story about a mean grandmother who forces her beautiful granddaughter to prostitute herself. under the beautiful word play of a wrtting genius such as Garcia Marquez the book is a work of art, if only the horrors of human sex slavery were so romantic and whimsical.........Its a shame on us all that, that sort of dehumanizing practices are still happening in our day and age to children all over the world including the US, those who are guilty of using children's lives to profit and despicable, but all of us are responsible. While basketball games fill up by millions, IF only the same amount of people gave ONE single dollar to put an abrupt end to cruelty to chidlren, one dollar a month given by 4 million people ends up being 4 million dollars a month for the lives of the innocent.Shame on us all for turning our heads and going on with our lives not careing,The little help of many turns into A LOT of help........
