Hillarities Of Life

As we waited in suspense, we imagined what our new houseguest would be like. But we would have never been prepared for the bundle of laughs we had ahead of us. At 9:30pm, there was a light knock at the door. We both jumped up in anticipation to greet our new houseguest. He had short, black, bushy hair he was of a plump build and fairly short. He was a Spanish speaker but his mannerisms were very American.
On his first night stay it was extremely windy outside, so the gates outside his window banged and clattered all night. In the morning, I asked him politely if he had slept well? He replied in an strong Spanish accent ?no, I slept happily!? laughing to myself later ? not really! ? We were unprepared for his enormously large appetite. We had provided a packet of croissants and a packet of cereal. (He gulped down the entire weeks provision.)
At meal times he consumed his meal in less than five minutes. We often politely enquired if he had a good day, he often replied ? ah ha. Ah ha, ar ha! ? (Indicating he didn?t want to talk.) He was only interested in one thing? EATING!!!
Our spare room had gone from a very quiet to extra vibrant and a hub of entertainment not just for him but for us too. The sound effects blasting from one end of his room to the other and throughout our entire home. The sound varied from coughing, singing, laughing, whistling and tapping to the rhythm of his music. Each day he provided more first class entertainment in the very heart of our home until the very end of his stay. His stay with us has ended but the laughter will continue forevermore.
I know that men are usually very particular about their hygiene & attire. Well our guest was no exception. He would spend half an hour showering and afterwards spraying him with lots of masculine deodorants. His hair would be gelled up like balls of wall. He would strut out of the front door very heavy footed a bit like a beer barrel rolling along the street.
Suddenly the sound faded. He was gone!!!
