Revelation Four
(Melanie Engels)
The universe is called a system, a solar system, and like most systems it is composed of a number of components, - comparable to an input-output processing machinery, like a manufacturing plant, that requires special gadgets for certain tasks delivering an end-directed product. The dualisms in the cosmos consists of opposing characteristics that drive it to its pre-intended goal. This vital function is attributed to the sun. The sun is the driving force and executioner of all natural laws and principles by which nature is governed. The planets and moons are attributed with lesser but still crucial functions since all systems have components of lesser importance, yet, crucial in the proper functioning and performance of the whole body of things, from beginning to end. The following comparable systems operate by the same principles: the human body system; the government system; the motor vehicle system; the stereo system; etc, etc, all of which have components consisting either of organs, departments, or some other vital parts that perform crucial or desired functions. Though they are regarded of a little less importance than the ?heart? of the system they are nevertheless vital for the proper functioning of the whole, or entity. The ?heart? of the cosmos is still the most crucial object of the whole - the nucleus of the universe. The following is my interpretation of Revelation 4: Verses 1-2 tell us when insight and understanding had registered in the mind of the writer (of this biblical story) another door was opened to him with new realizations about the truth of God that would inspire new prophesies influencing the existence of men. The writer, hypothetically speaking, is looking down upon the earth from way up high in space (akin to an astronaut looking down), and notices (verse 3) that the forests of the earth looked like jasper, the mountains like sardine-colour, and the water like emerald. (Verse 4) - Around the sun (like a clock) are twenty-four important ?seats? representing the universal time measure of a 24-hour time frame composing a full day, by which we set our clocks and calendar. The Law of Reversal is a function of the power that ?is sitting on the throne?, a natural power that moves day to night, and summer to winter, and so much more. The time measure has existed for eons thus the important 'elders', each one dressed in ?white raiment?, indicating their importance attributed symbolically to a crown. ?White? has great significance as is hinted in this verse from the book of Solomon verse 5:10-11, ?My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.? This is a hint at the sun, and the cosmos is black in contrast. Like a software program a >Master Plan? for humanity was installed into the heavens. It is a divinely inspired plan for humanity. ?Divinely inspired= because a previous civilization had excellent knowledge of the workings of the heavens and used this knowledge to devise a Plan for humanity to live by in order to give the human existence some meaning. It is being executed from a certain point in the heavens (maybe a planet) for this civilization?s striving to overcoming adversity and to gaining knowledge of the true God. Verse 5 - The exchange of communication between God and man are usually of a 'thundering kind' as discernible in the constant wars of man against man and personal conflicts that are >reversed=, like an echo, by the Law of Reversal. The seven lamps represent the 7000 years in which the cycle of the universe operates, and during each one thousand years, (indicated by a lamp), a distinct evolutionary process is elucidated. Verse 6 - The executioner of the divine program is considered to be God, or Prime Mover of the universe, as without its power nothing would move or grow in the universe. The rules are executed from an appointed place, analogously the >throne=, thoughreality it is the sun that executes all dualities from one state of being to their exact opposite, i.e. birth to death; day to night; summer to winter; black hair to grey hair; the invisible to the visible creation or conception; sowing and reaping and so much more. The sun pointedly aims its mighty laws into the four cardinal directions ?full of eyes before and behind? through a sea of fine ether, invisibly to the naked eye. Verse 7 - These forces are swift and strong like ?beasts?: (1) murderous like lions; (2) harmless like calves; (3) akin to the son of man - an uncontrolled savage beast, or a civilized being; and (4) these forces miss nothing on earth, like the sharp vision of eagles sailing through the air miss nothing beneath them. The third ?beast? is man - as man sends out wicked, evil, and malevolent thoughts, supported at Genesis 6:5: ? ?and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.? God?s laws enforce what they are 'programmed' to do, hence they boomerang right back to the sender. God?s justice is superior acknowledged with these words at Psalms 119:113 ?I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.? The Law of Reversal nobody can escape from.
