It was run by Ben Curry, a legend that was talked about in the same breath as Billy the Kid or Jesse James.
In my opinion, this was one of Louis Lamour's best stories. Each character was stunningly detailed, and the setting was very similar to the real Robber's Roost. The story tells of tragedy and heroism. The hero was the adopted son, who was raised by the very man who had killed his father. This story should be read by people of all ages!
