What do you mean by unemployment? Actually, unemployment is not idleness. Nature chooses a person when he wants to teach someone. It is my faith that nature provides unemployment to a person so he can improve his learning skills. It is separate matter that I was writing poetry and short stories in Punjabi language. I published seven books and three magazines. When I applied a job most firms refused to blame me that I am over qualified. It is very hard to live on earth without links. Especially when a person knew that how to accelerate economic resources for better causes? I never surrendered myself to bad circumstances. When I have spare time, I spent to serve the sufferers who failed to manage them. Although money is always my crisis but I never stop to walk. Few years ago when I was volunteering in a youth center in Birmingham, and serving to homeless people, I was totally disappointed and employment was threatening me by high ranks. I was blaming me that my qualification is totally a rubbish paper, I struggled over a year, months, weeks and days and always came back to learn more skills and never wasted my time to eat, drink and sleep.
I chose www.google.com and searched poetry. There were many of poetry awards in my front. I clicked one by one and the computer screen awakened my sleeping spirit. I was very excited. I wrote poetry in English language. I delivered the copies to my colleagues in the center and asked for their comments. When they criticized me, I noted that my poetry has developing image. I read their faces, their feeling were touching me. My poetry was a gift of my unemployment. I wrote and published them as www.poetry.com, www.poetrysoup.com and various others. Although my aim was only earning money but I never thought. I still have accessing unemployment. When I knew that I have very limited life why should I waste my time in over sleeping? I read Email from www.shvoong,com who has inviting me to write abstracts. I never have such qualification and experience to write professional but I dared to contribute it If I am unemployed that means I have no paid job, when I looked around I found there are many volunteering opportunities. I cared for them. I screened my home and repaired all the cracks. I looked at my neighours and played with their growing children and shared my experience with senior citizens and build my confidence when I knew that I am not only one who has problem that actually everyone have, who is believer or non believer, everyone is facing problems not only illiterate, educated, young, old, children, male and female. I stop to bother that I have money or not, I created such spirit in my body to enjoy my life. So I am dong such activities those offered me satisfaction. Actually problem is as a gear of a vehicle that accelerates the speed.
