Genesis
(The Bible)
Genisis is one of the best read books in the Bible because it tells about the creation of mankind. For thousands of years people have disputed over whether or not God created us. It will probably go on in the centuries to come. According to Genisis when man was created, he was in control over the world. However, his power to control the world was taken away from him when he made one mistake. We are still suffering because of the mistake that Adam made.
However'the story of Genisis goes continues. God made a promise to mankind that he would not destroy the earth with water. He sealed his promise with a rainbo in the heavens. He didn't say that he would not destroy the world,however.
The word "Genisis" means beginnings. That particular book in the Bible was the beginning of a series of events that occured and will occur in the future. It tells of destruction and heartache, but it also tells of miracles and rescues. It is indeed a wonderful book!
