Viúva Na Praia
(Miriam)

Publicidade
Rubem Braga, Widower at the beach. A man contemplated a widower. He was lying in the sand, remembering the deceased, a strong man of red face, that went to the beach on Sundays, with its Citroën car, with the woman, the son and the tent. He knew the woman was married. E now saw the widower, in her black bathing suit, a decent air, with her boy. She was pretty, of discrete curves, perhaps with twenty seven years. He thought that if he was the deceased, he would be resented if some days after its death, another man was to contemplate the body of its woman. However, he felt alive and superior, looking at his widower shining in the sun, breathing the wind of the sea.
