The selection, development and retention of knowledge workers, aligning of technology solution with business processes and innovations will be the key factors for future economies. Trans-national business relationships will be built on sharing of knowledge power, optimal use of distant and multicultural human resources and understanding of national policies and best business practices. The number of knowledge worker groups, in all spheres of our society is growing rapidly and they will be the creator of future wealth.

The author has provided lucid examples of various historical events and the response from societies of counties like Japan, China, Germany, USA, and England to build /rebuild/ boost their economies. He has highlighted how business uncertainty, information revolution, education policies and work culture of nations are influencing CEOs, mangers and knowledge workers in every country. Future market will not be affected by product range or product mix and pricing policies but more by quality assurance and customer delight. The workers will not be hired as long term employees based on their qualifications or past experience but as per their skills and ability to provide solutions to the problems. They would be deployed; relocated, retrained and redeployed globally .This will necessitate learning, understanding and respecting multi-cultures and customs.

It has been brought out that present trend of a supper power bullying small nations will not be acceptable to the world order. The author has highlighted how European countries are uniting to form strong Europe and provide an alternative to American control of world market. He has also covered emerging US policies toward Japan, China, Russia, Europe, Middle East and South Asia. It has been emphasized that current warfare is focused not only to destroy the enemy but destroy his war waging capability by destroying his economy. This must change. A powerful nation like USA may use its sophisticated war machinery to demolish governments of counties like, Afghanistan or Iraq but it will create more enemies and not have enduring peace.
