Agberaga almost defeated all his opponents, except one. This time around, especially when he had no much effort to use, as it remains only a person for him to win the contest, he was over excited that he was jubilating, despite he has not really win. Soon, the start whistle was blown, and the two contestants were looking steadily into the eyes of one another. Opposite him was a huge, average in stature, handsome looking, caring, gentle, loving, humble man, whom all ladies reckon and admired most, he was in a fine linen cloth made from quality materials. The two contestants strangled themselves, but Agberaga was able to cheat his opponent by his comic, funny idea of facing their audience. He lifted the man above the ground, about making his back to touch the ground that his eyes sighted those of a lady from the audience, whom he had in mind to choose, probably when he wins the contest. He could not help the look, instead he continued glaring at the lady erotically, it was at this point that his boys started singing his appraisal, his head swollen the more, that he could not make the back of his opponent touch the ground. Pride soon sunk into his brain that he became unconscious. His opponent never give a dam, that he suddenly reposed himself, and summoned the courage of reaction to let go the Agberaga?s hold off him, surprisingly, he was able to freed himself from his hold, before Agberaga could retaliate with a hold, the man was off. He never pave way for Agberaga?s comic ways of trapping him down again, he moves closer, eyes to eyes on him, stretch forth his hands to meet his opponent?s, stretch forth a leg to pull his?, pushes him backward, holding unto his legs, carried him shoulder high, pretending to move an inch towards the audience, and dropped Agberaga?s body systematically to the ground, making his back to be dusted. By now all the audience were filled with great joy and excitement at the fall of Agberaga, saying bravo! A job well done to the man who had successfully conquered Agberaga. It is now cleared that Agberaga had met his waterloo, since one cannot have his cake and have it. All Agberaga?s boys soon found themselves in deep water, knowing not what to do or what to say, they, one after another left the scenario of Agberaga?s defeat for their home, silently. For the past an hour Agberaga did not know the next step to take neither did he know the next idea to manufacture, instead he remained lying, with his eyes firmly closed, making the believe that he had fainted or given up the ghost, not until he sensed the movement of an ant on his arm, which he can not tell precisely the type, it is. Instead of preventing to be sting by the ant, he systematically, shyly rose to his feet, wearing a kind of glooming face.
After he had stood from where he was lying, the man whom defeated him was highly rewarded with twenty (20) hectare of farmlands, a herd of cattle, a dwelling edifice, materially well equipped, and to crown it all he was given the privilege of choosing a lady of his choice as a wife.
Ever since Agberaga?s defeat, he has turned to a new leaf, paying due respect to the elderly ones and being temperate in everything. He had learnt his lesson, never to under-estimate anyone again in his life.
