It
(Stephen King)

Perhaps the greatest standing testament to terror in text, IT is a timeless horror story that doubtlessly comes back again and again to kindle the flames of fear in the reader's soul. King has come up with an intricately complex storyline of melancholy and murder that blurs the supernatural with the mundane, and shows that despite how truly horrifying the eerily paranormal can be, malevolence of equavalent spite can be found just as easily in the hearts of men as in monsters. In what manner can such a concept be represented? King's brilliance generates the psychopathic Pennywise the Dancing Clown, an entity that wields a most formidable power indeed: the ability to instantaneously warp into its victims' greatest fears. Unfortunately, the town of Derry is the perfect breeding ground for child terror, and thus, it is very easy for the hideous beast to devour countless kids...until he comes into contact with a group of 7 kids, self-declared the "Losers". They share a special strength, and through their union and unprecedented recognition of what exactly Pennywise is (a higher level being they simple denote as IT), they become the only people capable of destroying the atroccious abomination that lurks beneath their hometown. What ensues is an incredible thriller that brings the children to the edge of reality to confront the darkest of shadows, and after a botched attempt to successfully kill the clown, a second Crusade with a catch...30 years have passed, the children have grown up, and in doing so, they're imaginative strength has deteriorated. Thus, they are forced into the pinnacle of madness as they clash once again with Pennywise, with IT, in a battle they seem incapable of winning.
