Writing Time Is Money
(Julie Hood; Françoise O' SCANLAN)
WORKING TIME IS MONEY SAVING TIME IS MONEY Now that i?m getting older and that y family is away, I spend more time writing. For many years I wrote for two or one hour a day. The point is, where are your priorities? Job, Family, TV, Sport? As you my have guessed by now, to me money is OK but writing is a must. Nevertheless as Time is Money... Let?s make the most of our 24 hours a day! I know it?s very personal... I mean the way we organize our day. So I?ll just jot down a few ideas. Do you know who you are? Of course, you do. Are you a night owl or like me a morning person? I?m so much efficient in the morning. At 4 or 5 in the afternoon, I?m a wreck. So I devote my early morning hours to work, (research and actual writing) and keep the rest (phone calls, e-mails etc.) for after lunch. Every evening I make lists. Hate them. To-morrow is another day... and to-morrow, first thing in the morning, I?ll do what I hate most, so I?ll get rid of it (fighting procrastination). I usually do that watching TV and sipping either a glass of wine or some herb tea! Stick to the list and dont forget to number the items from worst to best. All it means is that like it or not, you have to focus on your priorities and get organized. For now two years I?ve been reading Julie Hood web letter. It helped me a lot.
