This book is a must to read it is a map as it were to reconnect our broken families in America. He talks in depth about reconnecting to x wives and children that we have lost contact with and how to do so healing not hurting your family. Mr. Bryan talks a lot about his own struggles in his family. No truer words were ever spoken than when he said people cling to old lopsided memories .We remember things the way we want to remember .Our memories are not video tapes as we would like to think they are. He also takes a brilliant look at how we think our parents are bossing us around when they are really just trying to show there concern and love in what he cleverly calls coded messages. How is your car running? How are your finances? Mr. Bryan says this use to make him angry. How dare his Dad question him making him feel inadequate? His Father was really asking will your car get you there safely. Do you have enough money saved for those rainy days? He gives us fifteen rules of engagement to keep every one on the same page and to stop any physical altercations that can happen in families. As you read this intimate graphic breaking down and building up of ones thought process you can actually feel the love rekindle for your long lost loved ones. Mr. Bryan gives his reader a new perspective on old problems he helps you to feel that special childhood love you had for your family start to resurface and begin to grow. I love it when he makes the point that our children learn how to treat there elders by the way we treat our parents and they will treat you the same way. Yes this book is a must for young and old to read. I hope you like it as much as I did.
