I hesitated to classify this book of short stories as "erotic
literature". After all, many works of literature have erotic descriptions
in them. But in Curves and Angles, the erotic experience is the essence of the
stories. in the stories we meet Christine, a 26 year old girl who grew up in
Alabama, married when she was seventeen, gave birth to a little girl when she
was 21 and then decided that her independence and creativity is more important
than the "family values" she was taught, and she leaves her husnband
and moves with her daughter to Chicago. She gets a job as a sales lady in a
department store. There she decides to catch up on everything she missed out on
and her sexy nature and thirst for exciting sex drives her to seduce all types
of men that she meets. One of the most interesting stories tell about Christine
helping a married couple in their forties. They came to buy trousers (or
"pants" in American English) for the man. As he is trying them on in
the special booth and the wife browses around the shop, Christine sneaks in to
the booth, locks it and then, finding the man in his underpants, just stands
there and takes of her shirt until she sees the bulge in his underpants get
bigger and stiffer. She puts her hand on it, and from there Susan Sharing
skillfully describes the most strange and exciting act of sex, taking place
secretly and quietly. Another creative erotic description is of Christine and a
co worker in the store, after closing, him coming to her from behind and
cupping her breasts, she not turning around, and the whole act happens without
her seeing who the man is, and without her wanting to know who it is. The
Stories in the book all feature the same main characters, with new people and
new situations creating new stories.
Mystery, secrecy and deceit add to the thrill in this interesting erotic
book
