(Yann Martel)

Publicidade
How did yann martel write
this

novel. I am from kerala and I read about a remote
location in kerala,

called munnar in this novel. It is true that the
writer

has used his real life experiences to give the
realistic

touch to this novel. The story is being narrated to
the

author by charechters from india, especially from
southern

india. The names of charechters and their styles are
very

much indian. The spiritual aspect of the charechter pi
is

developed only in india and a person with such a
mindset

which aceepts all the philosophies could be developed
only

in india. Surely yann has some good indian freinds
whom he

has studied well to create his charechters. Pi is
stranded in the middle of the ocean yet he doesnt loose his
hope or doesnt even think of hopelessness. This is where
indian philosophy has helped him a lot. The reader comes
to a point when he thinks is this all real. The answer is
that yes it is real. The three religions hindu, muslim ,
and christian religion and its philosophies along with the
feelings of a follower of these religions is expressed
using the one special charechter pi. Pi a very religious
man has to go through a tough phase in his life. He is
very young. In the middle of the Ocean with a tiger for
company in his life boat. How could he survive. Darwins
theory of the struggle for existence and the human nature
is expressed in a very pure manner without much
masala.
