La Risposta Di Afsin
(Maddalena De Leo)

Publicidade
This very nice novel for young readers has nothing to envy to the other Bronte production by the same author, a very clever teacher of grammar school. We see in it the same enthusiasm and the same skills that are characteristic of her works on the Bronte sisters.
The theme of the novel, the history of the Fokean settlement in the Mediterranean, is little known and not studied till now.
The author with this novel has filled an empty space and also opened the road to new research and studies on the topic.
The Turkish boy Afsin, with a poor family behind is looking for his conscience, for his identity and his origins. He is attracted by the past and wishes to discover some more about his ancestors, si that he leaves for an adventurous journey in space and time. With his only forces, with his youth, his passion for music he leaves for the historical cruise in the Mediterranean to arrive in Greece, Italy and Spain. Of every nation he will pick up the particular fascination and through meetings and experiences, he will be brought about to be sure to be a Fokean himself bringing in him that archeological heritage.
And this is Afsins'answer. But it is also the author's answer, because she has been in this last years just an ambassador of her Majority in the project called 'The Fokean Network'.
Very interesting and well-edited are also the notes at the end of the novel, really a treasure for the scholastic production.
