Publicidade
So what are you going to do now Sam? Now that John has left you for someone else, who is going to give what he has always wanted ? a child.
Crazy with pain, Sam accepts Aunt Caro?s invitation and leaves for California to help out in the ranch. There she meets Tate and falls in love with him. But Tate thinks she deserves someone better than him and one day, he just leaves without leaving a trace. Sam looks everywhere for him, but Tate decides not to be found and Sam has to accept thatn. She goes back to New York, as Charlie is complaining about the load of work he has. But she is always thinking about Tate and one day, she proposes the agency to shoot an ad at a Ranch. They decide not to shoot the ad at Aunt Caro?s Ranch, but somewhere else and Sam goes too. In fact, she hopes to find Tate and that?s why she has the accident. She decides to ride a horse against the owner?s wish, as he considers the horse to be quite wild for her. And while riding, she thinks she sees Tate. The horse jumps and Sam falls, breaking her spine. Charlie thinks she is dead, but she survives, though she can never walk again.
But she goes back to work, though there are some adjustments she has to make. Until one day, she receives a phone call from a lawyer, saying that Aunt Caro, who had meanwhile died, left her the ranch. So, what does she want to do with it? She decides to go there, taking Charlie and family with her. Jock, the foreman convinces her to ride and that?s when the idea comes up. A Ranch for children with special needs and Jock can teach anyone to ride a horse. It is a wild success and Sam is quite happy, even adopting a child, whose mother died of an overdose. But it seems it is written in the stars she will meet Tate again. She does not know when she wrote that letter that she was writting to Tate. She knew he had a son, but she never thought it was Jeff, the ranch hand, who admired her. As her employer, when he died, she felt her duty to write to his father. So, Tate comes to collect his son?s things and sees her. At first, she refuses to talk to him, but he does not listen to her and follows her around in a chase that only ends up when he realises that she is crippled as the children in the Ranch. He manages to convince her that he needs her, after all, that it has been a mistake to leave and that he cannot live without his Palomino, his name for him, as Sam has lovely blond hair, which seems the mane of a horse.
