Aesop S Fables
(Aesop)

Publicidade
Aesop achieves in his fables that most supreme criterion of all literature, the
highly digestible conveying the most profound. His stories are never hard to
read; being equally accessible to children and adults alike. Through the
character of animals, parts of the body and sometimes even inanimate objects,
the traits of mankind are amply portrayed; that of perfidy being particularly
generously illustrated. The next time someone betrays you, forgets you, goes
back on a promise or simply ceases to be your friend, you have only to turn to
Aesop for an explanation. All human nature resides in these ancient Greek
writings.
