This author is difficult to read. I have had many difficulties to get used to its writing. High school student, I studied Sido and I kept a good memory of it, a frustration at the same time because I could not feel the same passion as my teacher in french was teaching it. I am not the kind of person who stays always at home and I have read carefully for the last time Wheat and Herb: a classic in literature, acclaimed by all critics! In the first pages, I could feel its irrelevance. A syntetic writing, earth comparisons or well learned, caracters without any interest. I left it for a while. I finished the second part during the day!! Yes, without leaving it! Let me explain: The story is about growing from adolescence to adult age by the hard evolution which is love. Two young tennagers know each other since childhood but with their bodies changing, they do not know what put them together, if it is love or friendship. Him, Phil will meet for the first time a woman older than him and the description of his relationships if full of passion! In the second part, we also find the confrontation between two adolescents, still children but son masculin and so feminin for her. This discussion is honest and sincere: it is the one of two adultes, who hurt themselves but not while they are children, they do not want to worry. This small romance deserves its place among the classics.
