Prayers For The Dead
(Faye Kellerman)

Publicidade
It is not for me to praise Faye Kellerman as a most renowned thriller writer or best sellers composer. Is so easy to join the many colored, complicated characters in hers books and to entrust yourself completely in hers skillful hands following the hair-raising plot to the unpredictable end.Through a very brutal, awful bleeding action, she will always find the ability to pull out some sardonic little smile. All that taken for granted,as self-evident and most enthralling, I would like to put a spot-light on a very interesting and moving point. I refer to the almost unbelievable relations between Jews and gentiles, within a mixed family, between mixed and non-mixed,and even between Christians of different faiths. Is that possible, as described in this outstanding book, during years of controversy, bereavement, suspicion, though wrapped, padded with human love/sympathy,a kind of openness and goodwill of understanding ?!And all that without ignoring, day by day, the domestic usual normal skirmish. Above any doubt it is possible. Many years of human history have proved that.Especially during the World War II,not many but not few also, owed their life to that kind of possible, but not worldwide demeanor/greatness. Faye Kellerman in - Prayers for the Dead - had found hers blessed track to turn an unusual reality in a credible novel. Abstract by David Ram-April/23/2006
