Madame Bovary

The story begins at the college when a new alumnus arrives: Charles Bovary, who after some time decides to study medicine though he was not too clever, he mets a widow, introduced to him by his mother and they get married, he also meets Emma,daughter of one of his patients. After his wife dies, Charles try to marry Emma, and once the father gives him his blessing, marriage is performed. They move to Charles house and Emma is not happy with the life she is enjoying, because it was not like in the romantic books she used to read, she becomes ill and Charles decides to move from town, Emma is pregnant. They arrive to the new town where Emma meets Leon, a lawyer´s helper, who didn´t want theirs love sin consolidated, but Emma finds a donjuan with whom by the first time she cheats on her husband. One day Leon writes her a letter telling her their romance must reach to an end. Emma gets sick, but months later she gets well, and goes to town where she meets Leon and consolidates her impossible love. Emma´s purchases made Charles lose too much money, and besides she had many debts, but she takes piano lessons in town which she never attends to, to meet Leon. One day she finds out hers house is going to be auctioned because of her debts and calls Leon to help her, he never shows up and under pressure she decides to get arsenic from a friend´s pharmacy. She dies very sadly and later on Charles finds the letters she wrote her lovers, he also dies and their dauther goes to live at a very poor relative´s house.
