more about engineering-
Engineering. It's everywhere. It shapes our world.
Engineers helped turn the 20th century into the American century by designing and building everything from cars to computer chips to artificial limbs better than anyone else in the world.
Now we need a new generation of engineers. A generation that reflects the vast potential and rich diversity of the new American workforce. A generation that will keep America's science and technology enterprise hitting on all cylinders. A generation that will cew paths of learning and discovery in the ongoing American endeavor of improving conditions of life for the country and the world.
Engineering, Go For It! is designed to attract high school students and their parents and teachers to the wide world of engineering and technology. It does this by focusing on the things and activities and people that inform teens' lives and values. By bringing engineering into the world they already know, Engineering, Go For It! opens up new worlds of opportunities and rewards for teen-agers to consider as they make the decisions that will determine their future
