Complain
(shiny)
Complaining is about the most popular verbal pastime imaginable. You can bond with other wingers instantly, drawn together on the common plane of dissatisfaction. There is a never ending material to choose from , the price of this , the state of that, the young winging about the old, the elderly complaining about those young people. Now, I wonder, is winging a inherent human function, a need to spu forth built up stores of negative thought thus relieving the psyche of negative garble? Or is it a modern phenomena, like plastic or cheap pine furniture, I hate that stuff. Did ancient man complain about the lack of hairy mammoths or about this new habit of standing upright ? Yes, I think winging is an ancient pastime I suspect mastered by the early Britons probably around the time of the Roman occupation. Why I hear you say, well because the Brits are present day world champions, their winging skill is world renown, you should hear the French complain about them. As an Australian I can not compete with a British winger. For a start we have far less winging material, in a head to head contest we tend to drink too much and throw up while the English can wine till sunrise downing lagers as they go. I suspect there is a mussel somewhere in the head or neck area that gives them their wining stamina. I hope with global warming the English weather will improve and the Brits will lose their edge. Yes winging is a duel edged sword. If you complain too much people is will complain about you. I imagine if you come under your national average your are pretty safe. This will vary from country to country . The Americans winge in a roundabout way, particularly when traveling O.S. They won't directly criticize but instead make comparisons starting with the phrase " Back in the states " .This phrase can also be used to winge about the U.S by the use of a negative comment following the phrase. Australians winge in a blunt, honest and often thoughtless manner. Western Europeans think about winging but are too politically correct. Canadians are serious about winging try to stay positive and wear bandanas. Winging unites us as flawed humans, it signals our need to improve , our dissatisfaction with the present situation and if my wife doesn?t stop complaining about me writing this article I'II ring a friend and winge about her.
