Ptolemy's Gate

This is a very interesting book filled with the well developed and
backed idea of a world in which magicials live and become powerful via
the powers of their enslaved daemons.This book is a brilliant read but
should be read after the preluding two in the trilogy. The one factor
that it would like to highlight is that like Tolkien Stroud has
completely imersed you in a world which is rich in detail and has its
own history and culture. A book well worth reading and if best suited
to adolescents ages 14+
