Histology Of Nervous System
(Santiago Ramon y Cajal)

Publicidade
Histology of Nervous System is Santiago Ramon y Cajal?s fascinating book of his almoust 80 years of scientific work. He started his discoveries from buying microskop on credit and some chemical reagents. And this was his laboratory tool for decades when he made millions of observations and illustrated them in outstanding precision and artistic manner. Long time there wasn?t any translator who could challenge oryginal Spanish into English becouse of its very difficult subject and commertial not discovered worth. But in his time he was awarded by Nobel Price in 1906. His work about patterns of connections of neurons are still one of the best drawings of nervous system ever seen. We then can ask: If some would like to play piano, first take lessons from bad treacher, then after training seek better teacher, and then best, or he could find best teacher first and learn from him faster and take mysteries of his master hand? I think Cajal was genius from whom we should learn first about neuroscience.
