(Henry Denker)

Publicidade
Kate Kincaid is the story of a nurse passionate about her profession and life. She goes to the Appalachian Mountains to receive training in midwifery in an institute, the only one of its kind. And it begins her unforgettable journey understanding people, nursing, experiences, love and life at large. Kate Kincaid is the story of Kate, the nurse, but it has feelings, emotions and experiences all of us can relate to. An extremely touching story, it brings forth friendship, love, commitment, and most of all the biggest human relationship-humanity in a beautiful and evergreen style. Author Henry Denker has given the readers a most amazing story that will make them introspect, retrospect and understand themselves and life better.

Although a story revolving around doctors, hospitals, medicines and patients, the story cuts out from the normal conventions of a medical thriller or a story on doctors by setting it in the picturesque view of the Appalachians. It does not seek to tell the challenges of a nurses life, but speaks about the gift of life all humans have so generously received from the creator. By portraying Kate as a trainee nurse in midwifery, Denker has chosen to portray the power of life and creation humans possess. A refreshing read, to say the least.

At the same time, Denker chooses to use simple vocabulary in a lucid style of story telling to charm readers of all ages, profiles and regions. A good read for anyone passionate about books.
