HOW WOULD YOU INSTALL A VIDEO ADAPTER CARD?
A: - To install new video adapter card we have to follow some steps like following: -
i) First of all we have to open the CPU cabinet and specify the perfect slot for the video adapter card.
ii) If we are installing an extra video adapter card with my computer?s current video adapter card then we have set the video adapter card in the PCI slot.
iii) If we are installing a video adapter card instead of my computer?s old video adapter card then we have to set the video adapter card in the AGP slot.
iv) After selecting the perfect slot and fit the video adapter card in that specific slot we have to connect the right cable connecting with the monitor.
v) After those steps we have to start the computer and install the specific drivers for the newly installed video adapter card. If we don?t install the specific drivers for the installed video adapter card then we cannot use the new video adapter card.
vi) We can install the drivers from the ad new hardware wizard manually. But in most cases when we install a new component then the computer automatically detect the specific component and start the ad new hardware wizard automatically to complete the installation of the new component. We can install the video adapter card?s drivers from the ad new hardware wizard or if the computer doesn?t detect the card then we have to start the ad new hardware wizard manually and install the drivers.
After following the above steps we can take use of the video adapter card, if mistakes in the above steps then the new video adapter card may not work properly then we have to check the all steps above.
