The writer has imazined that both men and women are from two differenr planets,men are from mars and women are from venus,justifying their different behavior and nature.when they both came to earth to live together they forgot their differences and started taking each other as themselves.this further create misunderstanding and fights between them.this resulted in their seperation called 'divorce'.so the theme of this book is to remind people some of their character facts and make this world a better place to live with our relationships.
First of all a person should remember that he/sheis very different from his/her oposite sex. a man's sense of self is defined throughhis ability to achieve results while a women sense of self is defined through her feelings and quality of her relationship.when men have certain problems,they spend sometime with themself on thr other hand when women have some problem they get together and openly talk about it.the primary love needs of both men and women are different.women need to have care ,understanding , respect devotion, validation and reassurance.while men need to recieve trust,acceptance,appreciation,admiration ,approval and encouragement.
Men are motivated and empowered when they feel needed .'not to be needed' works as slow poison tomen while women are empowered when they feel cherished.men hates to be pitied . men want space while women want understanding.never try to change and improve a man.those men are very rare who say sorry because on mars(the planet they come from)sorry means you have done something wrong and you are apolozising.

for women each gift of love scores equal points,doesn't matterbig or small,cheap or expensive.most of men try harder to achieve more succes in their carriers because they think it will make them worthy of love.but this is not true.women want her to be the priority in man's life than his work.

A women never ask for love and support because according to her'love is never having to ask'.but man assumes that he is giving enough.man doesn't like to be asked for support in demanding tone.always appreciate what he has already given and then ask for more.when aman grumbles it means he is considering your request versus his needs.
when men and women are able to respect and accept their differences then love has a chance to blosom.
