When Fishes Fly
(John Yokoyama; Joseph Michelle)
For most people on top rung of an organization, leadership amounts to trying to change others. John Yokoyama did the opposite. Instead of demanding results, he invited openion from employees and inspired them. This is the success story of the world famous Pike Place Fish Market. The book makes a very interesting reading. While the naration is simple and easily followed, the flow keeps the reader. It conveys to the reader a very good management aspect of both Managing One Self as well as Managing the employees. The new dimension brought in by the author(s) based on a success story is worth emulating.
