The World Of Truth
(Sharon Daniels)
The World of Truth is a book of witness: witness of the love between a woman and her dying father, witness of the discovery of unity in the world, and witness of the success of people in creating Heaven on Earth. What is refreshing about Daniels' portrayal of revelation is that her inspiration doesn't come from the mind, but from personal transportation and vision. It is this revelation which gives the book both its strength and its charm. To Daniels, coming to terms with the content of her vision, God's world of Love is imminent. Accordingly, her vision of the earth and society is not one of decay and destruction, but of mounting excitement and anticipation. She presents a vision of the positive work of millions, on a heartfelt journey through the Bible, her personal life, and contemporary society. For her, these are not the worst of times, degraded and fallen far from God, but, just the opposite: these are the best of times, in which God is drawing ever nearer to us. This is Daniels' testament, a book about and for people of vision, working for positive change, and succeeding at it. Compact, direct, and clear, it could easily fit in amongst the works of Moses or Daniel or John. It has the clarity of a Biblical wisdom narrative, the structure of a piece of wisdom literature or talmudic commentary, and the ring of truth. If it has a flaw, it is that it is too short, but, then again, brevity and simplicity are time-honored virtues in this genre. This is a book from the heart.
