The Scorpio's Shadow
(Stephen King)
There is only one way to define this book: a piece of art. One thousand pages can scare the reader away, but when you get to the end, believe me, you will look back and wish it could be double. In my modest opinion, this book could have not been written by anyone else but Stephen King. Only he can make his stories a movie with his amazing technique. The novel is on its own very ambitious, but the result comes out focused great. Ninety nine percent of the world?s population are killed by a lethal virus and the rest divide themselves into two teams: one lead by Mother Abigail, and another one (that forms itself in Las Vegas) guided by Randall Flagg, a man that is known for his diabolical character. The two teams slowly reorganize themselves first with things of primarily necessities like gas and light, but the confronting of the two teams becomes unavoidable. A very good novel full of action, recommended to everyone, even those who are not fans of King?s stories.
