For What The Animals Don't Communicate Any More Between Them?
(Rafael Berdiere)
We are told that in ancient times, the animals spoke between them, either between. the same species, or between different species, such as for example the cats with the dogs, the horses with the cows or the birds with rabbits. They inter communicated and understood mutually without having need for neither translation alive nor automatic. At this time, in a very distant mountainous area, lived an important community of asses; every afternoon In the spring the donkeys were in a beautiful valley to tell the new events of the day and to eat the rich and abundant grazing grounds together. By one very charming spring day, while discussing and eating like habit, a small haddock which was bored much is put to converse with a pleasant she-ass. They went coast to coast by dandling and by contemplating the flowers, admiring the ballet of the colored butterflies, and by enjoying the symphony of the merry birds which sang the love and happiness. They were so much filled with wonder and absorbed by the splendor of the nature which they had not realized that they had gone very far and which they arrived at the end of the valley where the mountains started. There, the small haddock saw an enormous bird which watched fixed it of a curious air, rather inquisitor and asks him abruptly: - Who are you? - I am a haddock, and you? - I am an eagle pantagonais. - What do youdo here, far from your Patagonie? - I am on direction of north and having flown much I feel tired and I rest to recover my forces. Of top I saw this beautiful valley and I am descended there to walk one moment. The haddock and the eagle having sympathized between them started to converse and go through a narrow path in the mountains; it thus spent a long moment and went for a long walk. The haddock left his partner the she-ass far from them. At the end of the day, the eagle which had put back, greeted the small donkey well and by agitating its wings rose in the sky. it very quickly disappeared beyond the mountains. The haddock wanting to turn over with his partner to the valley, realized that it already started to grow dark, It was very dark and it could not find the way of the return nor the place or he had left his partner. Very upset, it started to cry; by thinking that it had lost his friend. Not knowing what to make, it starts to seek a place to spend the night. It found the entry of a large cave. It is approximate there with vigilance. It entered there without having the courage of venturing there too much too inside. It is blotted between large stones very close to the entry which dissimulated it rather well, while trying not to make noise, while twisting hunger, trembling of fear and cold. While reconsidering with his partner, it melted in tears. Overcome by tiredness it had fallen asleep. After a long moment, heavy steps of an animal awoke it. Fixing the entry of the cave it sees the silhouette of a very large animal. Thinking that it was an enormous and wild bear, the haddock made a great effort not to move nor to make noise, so that theunknown animal does not see it. Both finally fell asleep. The rays of the morning sun which start to infiltrate in the cave them agreeably heated and awoke them. Preparing to leave without pointing out itself by the unknown animal, How was its surprise when it saw that was his partner who had left the day before to her research! One can imagine their happiness to be mated and they embrace itself very extremely. The partner gave milk to her friend and they took the way of the return together. The following day when they were found as usual in the valley they informed the members of their community of what had arrived to them. Those decided more not to speak with the other animals of the valley; Been remained a long time without speaking with anybody they forgot the language of the other animals. The small birds, the rabbits, the dogs, the cats, the horses, ants, cows, and the other animals which also got informed about what had occurred, made the same decision. It is what explains why today, that each species has its own language and that there is no more communication nor of comprehension between the animals of different species. We can conclude that the animals were contaminated by the selfishness of the human beings.
