Fiction becomes alive in the Da Vinci Code. Every reader will wonder what the other person thnks or believes is the intent of the author.To design a story that evolves around murder is hardly new, but to reach inside the secrets of a religion will raise the intrest of the reader.The story becomes a test of faith for the believers and a ridicule of the faith for the disbelievers. The writing at times is powerful but the long winded;passages makes one turn the pages easily.The unfolding events as decribed by each of the charcters can excite the mind of the reader to question the hidden beliefs long supressed leaving one to wonder about truth Fantasy is oftimes evident and undemines the plot. But Dan Brown has created a work of fiction that will live. It does what a good book should do. It creates questions and incites discussion.
