Muktibodh, a contemporary writer that this generation is creating tries hard to depict his reality of the world today. HIs frustrations, angst comes through in his piece of work. Somewhere, his past life has taught him some ugly realities and every phase or experience has made him pessimistic. His poems travel the valley of words unendingly, creating confusion in the mind of the reader. His work draws the reader down with its depth or shall we say the pits. He is disturbed by the society, its chaos, it lack of ethics, the people and their lies and yet he continues to dwell in them with a certain sense of supersilious attitude. He is one of them and yet feels above it. It provides the reader with an insight into the troubled mind of the writer who lives in todays neo world of constant struggle."Chand Ka Muh Teda Hai" ; the moon has a crooked face; is a glimpse of how he percieves the world. The chaos on earth has altered his vision of the beautiful moon. A lesson for all those who fail to see simple beauty in our everyday life, for those who see the world with tainted vision.
