Jonathan Livingston Seagull
(Richard Bach)

Publicidade
An exciting adventure about freedom of BEING. Most seagulls just worry about the trivial, Jonathan Livingston Seagull was different. He wanted to fly high towards the new, and for this he needed such effort, willingness and perseverance against the obstacles to come. For seagulls the most important was to fly in search of their nourishment, but for Jonathan it was the mere pleasure of flying. He even tried that ritual of surrounding the ships searching for food, but he felt so ridiculous! Jonathan became such a lonely bird not only by his personality, but also by being expelled from his band. Any time someone wants to inovate, to go against the routine, one ends by threatening its structure and the problem is solved by expelling it from the group who follows each other without knowing the way. Jonathan left that comfort zone becoming vulnerable to failure, but compensatively he acquired total control of fear and then he could fly each time higher seeking a personal fulfillment. He lived in an eternal learning and left leaving his example, while he stepped to another level where he could learn new learnings. Love is a sine qua non condition to everything. Knowing how to step forward without grieving those who still scrabble in their learning, and for that reason they see things differently, is the purest expression of love. Everyone has the right to blaze a trail in its wayfarings, just by wanting. We just need to free ourselves from the chains of routine so that we can walk towards the freedom of BEING.
