For some cooking is passion while for others cooking is a profession. The pleasure of cooking is varied. It depends from people to people as to what type of pleasure they derive from cooking. For a mother cooking is pleasurable because of the immense love she devotes to her cooking for her family. For an amateur it?s an exhilarating adventure into the unknown secrets of cooking. For chefs it?s a delightful experience to cook and present it to different people everyday. Cooking style is very elaborate and yet professional cooks can be so perfect in their cooking that it is indeed amazing to see their talent. There are different types of cuisines. Each different from the other and yet It is incredible to see how spontaneously the professional cooks can achieve their desired dish. Cooking is not only about the food you serve but also how innovatively it is presented to the patron. Aesthetic presentation of food is very important as it adds more sophistication and splendor to the dish. Perfect cooking is not all about perfection but also about how artistically it has presented. Entities such as delicate china, arty style and décor play a tremendous role in the perfection of cooking. Without this, impressing a gourmet would indeed be very difficult to achieve. South Asian cooking is indeed very difficult to attain because this cuisine is very varied. Therefore different cooks have their own individualistic flavors as it depends entirely upon as to how they cook it. For e.g. my mother is famous because of her expertise in cooking sweet dishes. The atmosphere a cook cooks her dish in is also equally important. The pleasure of cooking grilled food is altogether a different experience because of the atmosphere. Cooking grilled food in an open ambiance is an exciting experience as it has a very picnic like environment. Some may say that the invention of microwave oven is a newfound pleasure in cooking. Strenuous cooking methods have now been reduced to simple and easy methods much to the advantage of amateur cooks. Becoming a professional is not easy but it is not unattainable either. It will only require patience and determination and success will definitely be closer than expected.
