The Havana King

Based on real facts, Reynaldo?s history, 13 year-old
adolescent, loaded of sex, violence and fights for the survival in the Havana
marginal world of the 90, it is counted with a raw language, in the best
traditional dirty realism.
Reynaldo, from the roof of his house saw how his family
vanishes in seconds when, amid a family fight, his brother kills his mother
accidentally and commits suicide, and at the same time his grandmother closes
the eyes and decides to die.
King is petrified because of this tragedy, and he doesn't
know how to explain anything to the police, and it will stop to the jail, where
the law of the strongest will return him a hard, silent, solitary and enigmatic
boy. And just his sexual imagination and the masturbation maintain him alive.
Escaped of the jail, without education, without money,
friends, family, identification, or anything, Reynaldo has to survive amid the Havana marginal
jungle , full of prostitutes, traveling salespersons, and scamps of all type,
hungry people that only wants to survive day by day without knowing at least
why.
Hiding, sleeping in any place , strolling, stealing to eat,
he becomes famous for their pearl in the glans that implant him in the jail and
for their wild sexual appetite, among prostitutes and homosexual that help him to survive, and convert him in The Havana King (from Reynaldo=Rey=Kind) , as he liked said with ironic.
He knows this way Magda, thin and dirty girl that excites
him until the madness and that makes him feel the nearest of the love and of the fondness, and of the
jealousies, and that takes both of them
into the end of the classical Greek tragedy, of death of both in a trash can
full with dirt and rats.
